Job Description:
As an Architect, you will leverage emerging and recently adopted tools, technologies and frameworks to gear up our development teams to solve enterprise computing puzzles for Fortune 500 clients. You will also work closely with senior technical and business managers at these client firms to envision and implement strategies and technical roadmaps.
 
Required Skills:

• 6 or more years of strong Java/J2EE experience with exceptional design/architecture experience
• Advanced understanding of database technologies. Experience with databases like Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server
• Leading design and development of individual modules and experience in complete SDLC
• Strong OO concepts, Component based development and basic computing skills -OS concepts, threads, data structures, inter-networking, RDBMS and SQL
• Thorough knowledge of Design Patterns
• Extensive experience working and administering with either WebLogic or WebSphere application servers
• Experience with frameworks like Struts, Velocity, Cocoon, Hibernate, Spring, log4j etc.
• Experience with XML technologies like JAXP, JAXM, JAXB or JAX-RPC
• Experience in application server clustering, performance tuning and testing
• In depth understanding of framework design and architecture
• Ability to understand technical issues relating to enterprise class applications
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• High motivation/Self starter and a very good team player
• Experience in mentoring and leading development teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in documentation and good presentation skills
• Proven ability to interface with business users
• Experience and interest in business process analysis. Process design and implementation concepts
• Strong Unix and Windows exposure
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other related technical discipline

Desired Skills:

• Experience with C++
• Experience with other pieces of an enterprise IT puzzle - Integration Server, Messaging Server, Portals, Rules
• Engines - Workflow Engines, Content Management Systems, and Web Services
• Aspect Oriented Programming (Aspectwerkz, AspectJ)
• Masters degree in computer Science or other related technical discipline
