Ishi Business Development Executive will be responsible for establishing and enhancing customer relationships with a large number of assigned accounts across a broad range of industry sectors. This role will be responsible for the following:

  • Attract new clients and generate new business to achieve or exceed sales quotas
  • Develop long term relationships with prospects and clients to acquire and grow accounts
  • Make prospect lists, cold calls and follow-up consistently to generate meetings
  • Make sales presentations to potential clients by phone, internet or in-person
  • Work with technical and recruitment teams to address customer needs effectively
  • Work closely with non-sales people to communicate pipeline and activity status
  • Work with other sales people as a team to acquire and develop new customers

The right person will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry and sales experience involving client acquisition and account management. Proven track record selling professional services and staffing (IT-related)
  • Proven track record attracting new clients and generating $1.5m (GPM) or more in new business annually
  • Comfortable with, and a proven track record of making cold calls to follow up on direct marketing letters in order to generate appointments
  • Proven ability to get past the gatekeeper and reach top decision makers — then, get them interested in moving forward
  • Proven track record targeting small- to mid-sized businesses
  • Ability to follow up with prospects in order to develop the relationship over time and convert them to clients
  • Excellent presentation, PowerPoint, Excel and MS-Word skills
  • Superior written & verbal communication skills
  • A bachelor’s degree

Desirable skills:

  • Experience in selling to clients (Hiring Managers, Executives) in financial services, life sciences, insurance and telecom
  • Knowledge of enterprise computing technologies
