Job Description:

Ishi Business Development Support Executives will be responsible for supporting the efforts of Business Development Managers (BDM’s) by “front ending” the business development process and selling efforts by performing client research, initial client contact, preliminary client qualification and requisition management for approved Vendor Management System based clients within ISHI targeted accounts.
Specific areas of focus and concentration will be specific Target Accounts, VMO/VMS Organizations, Preferred Vendor Organizations, Procurement Organizations, Diversity Decision Makers and other selected accounts as assigned by the management, specific IT Hiring Managers and Legacy Accounts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Profile the prospect organization
- Validate contacts and gather intelligence
- Position Ishi along existing and new service lines
- Register for RFPs /RFIs, Quick Opportunities (Reqs)
- Set appointments for BD Team
- Act as POC for existing and new VMS/VMO’s
- Provide opportunity Feedback to BDMs
- Networking (within the focus groups)
Required Skills:
- Profile the prospect organization
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry and sales or sales support experience involving client acquisition and account management
- Proven track record in supporting the sales of or selling professional services and staffing (IT-related)
- Proven track record of attracting new clients and generating new business
- Comfortable with, and a proven track record of making cold calls to follow up on direct marketing letters in order to generate appointments
- Proven ability to get past the gatekeeper and reach top decision makers — then, get them interested in moving forward
- Ability to follow up with prospects in order to develop the relationship over time and convert them to clients
- Excellent presentation, PowerPoint, Excel and MS-Word skills
- Superior written & verbal communication skills
- A bachelor’s degree
Required Skills:
- Experience in supporting sales teams or in selling to clients (Hiring Managers, Executives)
- A working knowledge of enterprise computing technologies
